Instagram lets users display tagged photos on main profile grid

Social media platform Instagram has introduced another practical update that gives users better control over the visual appearance of their profiles. As reported by Engadget, users can now add photos they have been tagged in by others directly to their main profile grid.

Previously, photos published by other users in which you were tagged were stored only in a separate, dedicated tab. The new feature allows you to move these shots straight onto your main profile feed, displaying them as if you had posted them yourself.

Using the new capability is quite straightforward. To display a tagged photo on your main grid, open the specific post, tap the settings menu (the three dots), and select the option that places the photo on your main profile grid.

Notably, even after moving the photo to your main page, the original author, likes, and comments remain unchanged. This means the original source and authorship of the image are fully preserved.
